Fight or flight.

Have you ever been low?
Been forced to let go,
just as you're ready for landing?
Over a misunderstanding

An insightful dilemma
but it's now and it's forever.
Cause this vessel just won't hold.
It's you, or I who'll have to let go

For the further you fall, the harder you stand.
When you're risking it all for ocean or land.

With not a hand nor a heart
It's not all black, but it's dark.
As the runway plummets before you.

Would I take it all back if I could? I think I would.
Who's to say I've learned a thing at all?
Well, if time heals all wounds, then I beg to differ.
Can time explain why things arn't better?

Shift back, but only just, choking on all the dust
Pleading for deeper meaning. A breath to suck in.

Chip at all that is. At all that’s on the surface.
As our time’s running out and chasing me down.
Demanding to know when whether it's sky or ground, or if I'll ever resurface?

I'm running like trouble with purpose

In a circular line, from your heart to mine
Would I take it all back if I could?
